Nicole Kusmierz APRN, MSN, FNP-C
For many years I worked in Labor and Delivery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado where I had the best experiences learning intuitive nursing skills and patient care. In 2014 I returned to school to gain another nursing degree (BSN). 2018 was the year my career took a new path as I began working at Peak Vitality in Denver, Colorado. This career educated me in ways to care for patients utilizing integrative modalities in both Functional and Regenerative Medicine. I also worked part time in the operating room for Plastic Surgeons in both Golden and Denver Colorado, and becoming a Certified Advanced Nurse Injector for aesthetic procedures such as botulinum toxins and dermal injectables and PRP. I returned to school at American Sentinel College of Nursing & Health Sciences at Post University to obtain my MSN. I currently teach part time as adjunct faculty at UNCW and plan to continue my own education to receive my Doctorate.
The Hampstead community may recognize me from Coastics Wellness + Aesthetics, a practice I co-founded in 2022. At Vital N.P., I will continue to offer all of my functional wellness services such as bHRT, medical weight loss, PRP therapies, and IV vitamin/mineral infusions. But I am excited to add on more functional and regenerative health services in the very near future…stay tuned! Sophia Chase, Patient Care Coordinator/Medical Assistant
Sophia Chase, Patient Care Coordinator/Medical Assistant I have been a Health and Wellness enthusiast for 5+ years. I received my Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Communications with a Health and Science emphasis from The University of Utah in 2023.
My career began in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2021, where I started as a Clinical Exercise Assistant for a Physical Therapy & Wellness Center for 3 years. I gained experience in guided exercises specializing in individuals with Parkinson’s, MS, and Stroke patients. Subsequently, I became Certified as a Lifestyle Coach for the National Diabetes Prevention Program (NDPP-DTTAC), where I taught a class on lifestyle changes in Sleep, Diet, Exercise, and Stress to help aid in the prevention of Type 2 Diabetes.
More recently I ventured off as a Patient Care Coordinator & Administrative Assistant for an Oral and Facial Surgery practice in Bluffton, South Carolina. I enjoyed learning more of the business and administration side of healthcare. I am excited to expand my skills in health and wellness and truly find so much joy in helping others on their wellness journey. The future is full of more tools I’d like to add to to help make Vital N.P. flourish!
